Thanks to the COST Action-OneHealthDrugs, I had the remarkable opportunity to attend the Cheminformatics+ Summer School in Ljubljana, held from June 30 to July 4. This inspiring event brought together leading European experts, whose lectures offered deep insights into the power and versatility of cheminformatics—spanning applications from forensic science to pharmaceutical innovation and even ecological implications. One of the highlights of the Summer School was the visit to Novartis’s biologic drug manufacturing facility, providing a rare glimpse into real-world industrial applications. Equally exciting was the Hackathon Day, which encouraged dynamic, interdisciplinary teamwork among young scientists. Tackling real-world challenges in such a stimulating, tech-driven environment not only sharpened our skills but also opened the door to promising academic and industrial partnerships.
